On Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 7:30 p.m., Borden Auditorium, Manhattan School of Music (122nd & Broadway, New York, NY), Joseph Boga's arrangement for brass orchestra of "Caboose" from Wynton Marsalis's extended work Big Train was premiered by The Manhattan School of Music Brass Orchestra, Mark Gould, conductor. The concert, entitled "Brass Fire", featured soloist Matt Muckey, associate principal trumpeter of the New York Philharmonic, and works by Grammy winning composer Carlos Franzetti and MSM composer and arranger Josh Freilich, as well as Boga's arrangement.

Joseph performed with The Wycliffe Gordon Septet on July 10, 2010, at Lincoln Center for "Midsummer Night Swing" event.
